LA Park

Designed by Rich Risner with Grounded Landscape Architecture for a very limited construction budget of (3 million including the clean-up). It’s a completely passive green park/openspace in the heart of downtown LA.  33 acres of a old rail-yard that has become a shinning jewel for the public. Designed to reflect many historic elements because it was the last and only stop for the rail road from the east coast to the west coast. Park features includes as many recycled elements, “green” products and drought tolerant/native plant material as possible.
